When deciding which type of stain to use for your deck, we consider the age and condition of your deck. If your deck is new, a water-based stain will be sufficient. If your deck is older or in poor condition, an oil-based stain will provide better protection.
No matter which type of stain is suited to your deck, we make sure to prepare the surfaces for excellent finish! We start with cleaning your deck with a power washer on a medium-pressure tip to avoid damaging the wood.
Once your deck is clean, we allow it to dry completely. We then sand any rough spots and remove any flaking paint or stain. Finally, vacuum up all the dust and debris before staining the deck.
