Carindale’s housing stock is a fascinating mix: predominantly 1970s and 1980s brick veneer family homes built during the suburb’s expansion around the original Westfield Carindale opening, plus a wave of 1990s–2000s render-and-timber-accent homes on the slopes toward Bulimba Creek, and newer townhouse complexes near the shopping centre.
